RC Aircraft, are they just toys?

They are made from foamed plastic and usually come in an assortment of colors. You can put them together and to spend hours playing with them. They bring excitement in many, felt the same excitement as a child while walking in a toy store. In fact, they look like a toy. So this brings me to question, model aviation, are they just toys?

The toys are brightly colored and usually a kind of plastic, sometimes you buy them and put them together yourself. They certainly bring excitement in the eyes of a child and are made with the youngest person in mind. Bright colors, shapes and special materials are factors that are of a toy there to be a part of the learning experience for children and to encourage them to want the product.

However, when a say the adult or older child into a shop of a HobbyZone rc aircraft shop, there are many similarities in how the planes are packed RC toys. They are colorful and designed to make you want the product. I think the idea is to bring out the inner child, flooding you with memories of how it felt like a child and walking in a toy store. Then, once you have purchased an airplane RC, as you would with a toy, you spend time playing with it. But I think where the similarities end.

RC Planes are more than just fun and games, there are true fans out there who go out and take flying lessons from these planes and spend hours perfecting their flight, not to mention the construction of these aircraft to look a certain way. There are clubs where they can join forums and endless talk about their planes. It's actually a pretty cool hobby and it's better than collecting coins or stamps. So where are toys for educational use, RC Planes are more passion for motor and something pleasant to spend time with. My conclusion is that the planes LR not toys at all, they are more significant and more to do with those enjoying free time.
